So devastated at the loss of Luke Perry—taken way too soon! A stroke can happen suddenly to anyone.

Do you know the signs of stroke so you can help respond? It’s FAST.

FACE - is there dropping of the face? If you ask the person to smile, is it crooked?

ARMS - if you ask the person to lift both arms, can they? Are they equal height if you say “lift your arms to a T”?

SPEECH - is speech slurred or are they speaking jibberish?

TIME - this is the biggie. Act fast. If you suspect someone is having a stroke, call 911. The faster they can get to the hospital, the better their chances.

Today’s Red Cross Babysitter course prepared an awesome group of young girls to watch after their younger siblings this summer, and to start their own babysitting business! I love sending them into the world prepared and confident!Teenagers rock 👊🏼
