James “Jim” L. Delfelder, 62, of Meriden, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026. He was born January 19, 1964, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of John and Judith (Eagan) Delfelder. Jim graduated from Seaman High School in 1982. Jim married Cindy (Raaf) Delfelder on July 6, 1988 in Miami, OK. They had two boys, C.J. and Connor. This year marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, a day that forever changed our nation and the lives of so many.

We remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost, the families and loved ones who continue to carry their absence, and the countless first responders, military members and volunteers who showed extraordinary courage and compassion in the days that followed.

We will never forget.
