TRUTH
Truth can be found in numerous places, in the heart, in a book, in knowledge, within our souls, etc. In today's world, some truths are found on the Internet but more often than not the lies abound.
We, as a species, always strive to seek the truth but sometimes we find ourselves believing the lies over the truth, i.e.; "The Election was Stolen by Jewish Space lasers in the basement of a Pizza Hut." When we find that we have been lied to then we become indignant, angry, and embarrassed that we were fool enough to fall for it.
So how do we separate what is truth from what is not when we cruise the Internet and social media? Well, one simple way is to visit the website www.snopes.com Snopes works hard to separate the truth from the lies and they bother to take the time to seek the truth out in the hundreds of social media posts and emails that flood your inbox every year.

Can you imagine how many social media posts and emails would disappear from your inbox if your friends and family would bother to do their research and check their facts before sending out the latest, "Joe Biden gave Osama Bin Laden the Congressional Medal of Honor after they dined together on children" social media post or email? Hmmm, hope I haven't started a new social media and email lie with that one.
One of the best tools that you have for separating the lies from the truth sits at the top of your neck and is housed within your skull. God granted you with a brain and I am pretty sure he expected you to use it. It is way too easy to be gullible because as a species we have an ingrained desire to believe.
Next time you see a social media post or get an email take a moment and actually think about what it contains before you forward it out into our electronic Universe. If you take a moment to separate the ridiculous fiction from the self-evident truth you might be amazed at what you find.
