🍔 Cooking Up Something Good at Rossville! 🌽

Our Activities Department had a little extra help in the kitchen on Friday! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳❤️

Our residents rolled up their sleeves and helped prepare a delicious homemade meal featuring Juicy Lucys, coleslaw, fresh corn on the cob, and pineapple upside-down cake! 🍔🌽🍍🍰

There’s just something special about gathering around the kitchen, preparing a meal together, sharing a few laughs, and of course enjoying the finished product! Our residents had a great time being part of the process from prep to plate. ❤️

A big thank you to our Activities team and our resident assistants for making Friday a little more delicious! 😋

There’s something extra special about residents bringing the fun! 💕🎉

One of our residents took over as Bingo Caller and did an amazing job leading the game for everyone! We love seeing our residents get involved, share some laughs, and create special moments together. 🥰

🎓 Another Successful Therapy Graduation! 🏡❤️

On August 13th, we had the privilege of sending Mylinda HOME after a successful stay at Rossville Healthcare & Rehab Center!

Through her hard work, the support of our Therapy team, and continued services through Midland PACE, Mylinda was able to reach her therapy goals and return home. 💪🏼🎉

These are the moments we love to celebrate — watching someone work hard, regain their independence, and get back to where they want to be: HOME. 🏡

🎓 Another Rehab Graduate! 🎓

Today was a special day at Rossville Healthcare & Rehab Center as we got to send Sandra HOME after completing her short rehab stay! 🏡❤️

Of course, our therapy team couldn’t let her leave without making it official — diploma and all! 🎓👏

We are so proud of Sandra and grateful we got to be a small part of her journey. There’s nothing we love more than seeing our residents reach their goal of returning home!

🐾 Meet Winnifred “Winnie” Sanderson 🐾

If you’ve spent much time at Rossville Healthcare & Rehab, chances are you’ve crossed paths with Winnifred Sanderson — Winnie for short. 🐱💕

Winnie joined our Rossville family in August 2024, when we adopted her from the Humane Society, and she’s been keeping us on our toes ever since. 😂

She’s a little bit ornery, a whole lot of personality, and when she decides it’s time to be sweet, she can be the sweetest girl around. ❤️ Whether she’s supervising from her favorite spot, visiting with our residents, or giving us that signature Winnie look, she has definitely made our facility her home.

Two years later, we couldn’t imagine Rossville without our Winnie. 🐾❤️
