Darian Olivia Arquette – SupSusLute – was born on Wednesday, July 5, 1995, in Yakima, Wash. to Michelle T. Strom and Ira James Arquette. She started her heavenly journey on Friday, July 24, 2026, while in her Wapato, Wash. home after a becoming a fierce advocate for life, while suffering from epigastric carcinoma – cancer. She was continually surrounded by friends and family members who offered prayers, Wa’ashat and Indian Shaker songs. From the beginning, Darian was an emotional fighter. After being born with a hole in her heart, and after strong prayers and immediate baptism, she returned to the doctor and the hole was healed. Her families gave all the glory to God. Darian would be intensely competitive on playgrounds and on basketball courts – even though she would be the shortest player on the team. She carried that fearlessness and courage when diagnosed in September 2025 with the disease. Darian did not back down from the confrontation set before her – inspiring all her friends and family. She readily and bravely put forth her well-known smiling and bubbly character throughout her precious life. Darian attended the Granger and Toppen*sh school districts and graduated alongside her sister, Jonet, from Yakama Nation Tribal School – ow-nah Xwyama! She worked at Yakama Legends Casino & Hotel, 2016-2024 and most recently with the Yakama Nation Property & Acquisition Department. She made many friends along the way.
