Dr. Owen is my close colleague, personal friend, and cares for my own family. His family have already contributed so much to our community, and we are all blessed (especially am I with a full practice) to have Dr. Owen serving our community. He has quite the story of persecution and hardship escaping a country that would not let him serve those around him to his fullest capacity. It is an honor to welcome the Owen's to our country and support them on their path to citizenship. (A slight bias as their youngest is our godson!)

I’m voting against the library levy. The push of transgender books is unacceptable. I no longer take my children into the library because I don’t want them constantly exposed to a sexual agenda I disagree with. Let parents continue to have a say in what their children read. I recommend voting no on the levy until the libraries make these books available by parental consent.

There is a lot of chatter about President Trump and RFK Jrs announcement today regarding acetaminophen/tylenol. I not going to go into the studies or science, but will acknowledge this has been a conversation for some time. I will say we need not adhere to the recommendations of organizations like the American College of Obstetrics who immediately say everything is fine while also saying that abortion, contraceptive, and surrogacy are also ok. Don’t listen to the corrupt voice.

We have at least a half dozen families from Steubenville who have committed to Fest 3 next summer. We would love to see as many local families as possible to this wonderful week at Catholic Family Land to make it a “Local Fest”. It was so impactful on our family this past summer, we are going to Totus Tuus in October and can’t wait until family fest next summer. PS we are staying in cabins in St James Field

It has been an amazing summer! I have had the privilege of welcoming 20 new babies into the practice (from existing families in my practice) since July 1st. I am so grateful for the opportunity to support growing families. I have at least 7 more babies expected before the end of the year. So if you are a patient of mine, please pray the well being of the babies and their families!
