UV Safety Month Tip #3: Stay hydrated.
Wrapping up our UV Safety Month series, our final tip is to stay well-hydrated during the summer months. Warm weather and sun exposure can greatly increase the risk of dehydration, especially for older adults who are more susceptible.
Be sure to drink plenty of fluids throughout the day, even if you don’t feel thirsty. Incorporate hydrating (and tasty) foods like watermelon, cucumbers, and oranges, and try to limit things that contribute to dehydration, such as caffeine and alcohol.
