September is Vascular Disease Awareness Month.

Join us in welcoming Julia Kwan, MD! 🎉

Dr. Julia Kwan is a board-certified dermatologist who was born and raised in Southern California. Dr. Kwan’s main focus is general, medical, and surgical dermatology, where she feels she can best help patients manage their skin conditions.

After receiving her medical degree from New York University, Dr. Kwan served eleven years in the United States Navy. Following a transitional internship in San Diego, she became the general medical officer on an amphibious warship, accompanying it from New Orleans through the Panama Canal to its homeport of San Diego. Upon completing a dermatology residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego, Dr. Kwan was stationed in Pearl Harbor as the active duty staff dermatologist for four years.

She is happy to be back in the South Bay practicing dermatology. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, cooking, and spending time with her husband and 2 children.
