What I bring to the therapy space 🤍

Therapy doesn’t have to feel like sitting across from someone who is just taking notes and telling you what to do.

I want my clients to feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for while also having a therapist who will gently challenge you when it matters.

I bring:

✨ Trauma-informed care : understanding that your experiences, your nervous system, and your story matter.

🫶 Truly listening with intention: not just listening to respond, but listening to understand.

😂 Humor + laughter : because therapy can hold hard things and still have moments that feel human and light.

🧰 Hands-on tools : practical strategies you can actually take with you outside of the therapy room.

🌱 Gentle challenge : bringing certain behaviors of ways of thinking to light through compassion and care.

💜 Caring deeply : because I genuinely believe the relationship we build in therapy matters.

My approach is collaborative, meaning you are the expert in your own life.
I work with teens and adults around concerns including trauma, anxiety, body image, eating concerns, self-criticism, life transitions, and more.

If you’re looking for a therapist in the South Bay/Los Angeles area, ( virtual in California) I’d love to connect. 🤍

Let’s get curious about our relationship with food and our bodies.

In a culture that constantly tells us how our bodies should look, what we should eat, and how much we should exercise, it can be hard to recognize when these messages start shaping how we see ourselves.

Maybe you find yourself:
→ feeling guilty after eating
→ constantly thinking about food or your body
→ checking your body in the mirror
→ exercising to compensate for eating
→ comparing yourself to others
→ fearing weight gain
→ struggling to trust your hunger and fullness cues

None of this means there is something wrong with you. These thoughts and behaviors often make sense when we consider what we’ve learned and the messages we’ve been surrounded by.

Therapy can be a space to explore these beliefs and build a more flexible, compassionate, and freeing relationship with food, movement, and your body. 🤍

Eating Disorder Awareness Week 💜

Eating disorders affect people of all genders, ethnicities, ages, and body sizes. They don’t have a “look.” And healing isn’t about changing a body it’s about changing our relationship to food, care, and worth.

Many people have been harmed by weight-centric systems that focused on weight loss instead of listening to what someone actually needed. A weight-inclusive, Health At Every Size (HAES)-aligned approach reminds us that health is not defined by a number on a chart, and recovery requires respect, nourishment, and trust.

Right now, our culture often sends the opposite message. Media, commercials, medical systems and public messaging can amplify fear of food and bodies, making it harder for people to heal. The truth is: carbohydrates and starches are not the enemy they are foundational fuel. Our brains need glucose to think clearly, regulate emotions, and function. When we aren’t eating enough or eating consistently, “food noise,” anxiety, and stress around food and our bodies can create some challenges that are hard to break free from.

This week (and every week), we can challenge stigma, question harmful narratives, and support nourishment : physically, emotionally, and relationally.

Recovery is possible. And it starts with compassion, not control.
