Compassionate care and clinical excellence are inseparable. At AMSURG, we care deeply for every patient’s whole identity and champion excellence by ensuring our care teams reflect and respect the communities we serve.

When patients feel seen and supported, healing can truly begin. And by providing a platform for diverse voices and fostering a culture of advocacy, we ensure that everyone has the tools and the confidence to succeed.

This month and always, we celebrate and support our diverse community of patients and colleagues. Together, we are building a more inclusive future for healthcare.

Did you know your dinner plate could help protect you from colon cancer? 🥦🐟🥛

A new study shows that eating more fiber-rich veggies and healthy fats and less sugar can lower your risk. We’re here to support your health — every step of the way.

👀 Your vision deserves expert care—and trusted guidance matters.

We’re honored to have Dr. Jake McMillin of the Eye Surgery Center of East Tennessee serving on our Ophthalmology Physician Advisory Board.

Dr. McMillin completed advanced training at the Cullen Eye Institute at Baylor College of Medicine, where he learned from leaders in cataract, cornea, and refractive surgery. Today, he specializes in caring for patients with corneal disease and finds it especially meaningful to help restore vision through corneal transplants.

We’re grateful for Dr. McMillin and all of our Physician Advisory Board members who help guide our commitment to compassionate, high‑quality, patient‑centered eye care—so you can feel confident every step of the way. 💙

What makes being an AMSURG team member so rewarding? 👥

Feeling valued, supported, and part of a team that truly cares.

“Working at AMSURG, I get to be part of a team that genuinely cares—about each other and the work we do every day. It’s rewarding to know that my contributions are valued and have a real impact on the success of the centers we support.”

That sense of connection is what sets AMSURG apart. Our team members know their work matters, their voices are heard, and their efforts help support care every single day.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We also hold close the families who carry their legacy forward.

In our centers and communities, we’re reminded that service is demonstrated in everyday moments; how we care for patients, how we support one another and how we show up when it matters most.

Today, we reflect with gratitude, remember with purpose and continue serving others with compassion and teamwork.
