Our high quality state-of-the-art technology provides the patients and physicians an extra measure of comfort and service. MRI, X-RAYS, and ULTRASOUND. We are ACR accredited.

From a patient’s head, neck, spine, chest to all extremities. Our Hitachi Aries ll open magnet offers clear images for the doctor and a calm non-claustrophobic MRI experience for the patient. The unique design of this MRI allows us to accommodate ALL TYPES of patients, even physically large and claustrophobic patients and is ideal for elderly and sedation sensitive patients. A microphone and speaker system allows communication with the technologist during your entire exam. For your enjoyment you may listen to a CD of your choice and bring a companion to sit with you during your entire exam.

Why is MRI important?
Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a non-invasive diagnostic tool used by physicians to look inside the human body. Useful clinical information can be obtained, leading to early detection and treatment of disease. Incorporating advanced technology, MRI produces images of the anatomy without the use of radiation. In some situations, this exam can reduce the need for further procedures, such as exploratory surgery or other invasive procedures.

What is a kidney, ureter, and bladder X-ray?

A kidney, ureter, and bladder (KUB) X-ray may be performed to assess the abdominal area for causes of abdominal pain, or to assess the organs and structures of the urinary and/or gastrointestinal (GI) system. A KUB X-ray may be the first diagnostic procedure used to assess the urinary system.

X-rays use invisible electromagnetic energy beams to produce images of internal tissues, bones, and organs on film. X-rays are made by using external radiation to produce images of the body, its organs, and other internal structures for diagnostic purposes. X-rays pass through body tissues onto specially treated plates (similar to camera film) and a "negative" type picture is made (the more solid a structure is, the whiter it appears on the film). Digital films and digital media are more commonly used now than the film media.
