I don’t take reviews for granted, especially as a small local business.

A recent client shared this after coming in with nagging pain running down the side of their leg that had been bothering them for over a month. After trying stretching, rest, and workouts without much improvement, they noticed a change after just one session.

What they highlighted is exactly what I strive for with every treatment: intentional, individualized care. Rather than simply going through the motions, I take the time to assess what may be contributing to your discomfort and work toward addressing the underlying factors involved.

Whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, an injury, muscle tension, mobility limitations, or looking for sports and recovery-focused massage, my goal is to provide medical massage in Traverse City that is specific to you and your needs.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who takes the time to leave a review, share their experience, or recommend my practice to someone they know. Your feedback genuinely helps a small local business grow, and it also helps people searching for medical massage, pain relief, sports massage, and therapeutic massage in Traverse City find the care they’re looking for.

Thank you for trusting me with your health and allowing me to do what I love every day.

When someone who has worked with more than 50 bodywork specialists across the country and around the world tells you that you’re only the second person they’ve found who truly stands out… that means a lot.

I’m incredibly grateful for this review and for the trust my clients place in me.

My approach to medical massage is simple: don’t just chase the pain. Look at the bigger picture, identify what may be contributing to the problem, and create a treatment plan designed around the individual.

Whether you’re an athlete, dealing with chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or simply tired of temporary relief, you deserve a more intentional approach to your body.

If you’re ready to stop putting a band-aid on the problem and start working toward meaningful change, I’d love to work with you.

Anytime we are working with calf and ankle pain we have to look further up the body. Anytime a muscle affects a joint it crosses it. Many of the muscles in the foot and ankle end as high up as the knee. No foot massage is complete without lower leg work. massage athlete city

Spinal erectors are the backbone (pun intended) of the posterior chain of the musculoskeletal system. They are a dense intricate structure of smaller woven muscles that attach all alone the spine, going from our sacrum all the way up to the base of our skull. They are additionally important because all of our nerves from our spinal cord pass from our vertebrae through the erectors and spread out along the rest of the body.

1. there are 5 primary muscles that explicitly position and move the shoulder girdle (scapula and clavicle) and 17 different muscles that attach to the scapula to stabilize and move the entire shoulder joint.

2. The shoulder joint have 7 primary movements of flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, internal rotation, external rotation, and circumduction which is a combination of 4 of the previous movements.
