Our featured physician is Dr. Ethan Van Til who is celebrating 25 years with Thirlby Clinic. Thank you Dr. Van Til for you dedication and care you give.

Ethan Van Til, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine specialist who brings more than 25 years of experience to Thirlby Clinic, PLC, serving adults in and around Traverse City, Michigan.

Dr. Van Til completed his undergraduate education at Calvin University (formerly Calvin College) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Following graduation, he enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh and obtained his Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Van Til subsequently completed his internship and residency training at the Wright-Patterson United States Air Force Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio.

As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Van Til has special interests in diabetes, heart disease, health informatics, geriatrics, and medication reviews. He holds hospital privileges at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

When he isn’t meeting with patients or developing treatment plans, Dr. Van Til stays busy working out, participating in Church activities and hiking with his family. He is a proud (retired) major in the United States Air Force.

This month's featured provider is Dr. Joshua Kroll, DO, MS. Dr. Kroll is a board-certified family medicine physician at Thirlby Clinic, PLC, in Traverse City, Michigan. He is proud to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to his patients.

Dr. Kroll earned his Bachelor of Science in biology from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. He then received his Master of Science in biology from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant and worked as a research associate and clinical research coordinator in the Department of Surgery at Harper University Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Afterward, Dr. Kroll completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University in East Lansing in 2018.

Dr. Kroll is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

When he’s not at work, Dr. Kroll enjoys participating in outdoor sports with his wife and Lab, learning about American and European history, and tinkering in his home and garage.
