I wanna be with you everywhere. Still.

💕

This is an oldie, but it cracks me up because it is still VERY accurate for what many of my workouts look like today. 😂

They are perfectly imperfect.

Sometimes it’s totally fine. Other times it makes me want to lose my s**t because I would just really love 20 solid uninterrupted minutes 😆

But they still count.

And I think one thing that makes those less-than-perfect workouts land a little softer is knowing my kids get to see me do hard things.

They see me do the workout when I don’t want to.
They see me do it when the house is dirty, dinner isn’t prepped (hello breakfast for dinner), there are 47 other things I could be doing, or I’d really rather take a nap.

They see me when the workouts really challenge me.
And they also see me taking care of myself with a little more stillness and ease when that’s what I need.
It all counts.

As much as I workout for myself, I also workout because I want them to see that taking care of yourself doesn’t have to look perfect.

It doesn’t have to be easy.

You don’t have to wait until everything else is done.

And something doesn’t have to go exactly as planned for it to still be very much worthwhile. 💛

You were probably told these things were just part of motherhood...

✨ Leaking when you sneeze.
✨ Avoiding jumping.
✨ Constant low back tightness.
✨ Feeling like your core just isn’t the same anymore.

These symptoms are incredibly common, but they aren’t something you have to simply accept.

That’s why I created the Ignite Core Challenge.

Over 4 weeks, I’ll help you reconnect with your core and pelvic floor, move with more confidence, and understand what your body needs to feel strong again.

💜 We start September 1.

Comment “CHALLENGE” below and I’ll send you all the details.

There are a LOT of things I was very certain about at one point in my life. 😂

I hated hot sauce.

Now I put that s**t on everything.

I hated watermelon. I could not handle the seeds!

Now? LOOOOVE it. 🍉

I could NEVER give up cereal and needed pasta in my life.

Neither are really even around my house anymore... and I don’t really miss them all that much.

And then there were the slightly bigger declarations...

I didn’t want kids.🙈

Now I have two.

I’m certainly not crushing motherhood every day.

But it has been one of the hardest, weirdest, funniest, most enlightening jobs I’ve ever had.

And somewhere along the way I’ve realized how many times I’ve said:

“I could never do that.”

“I’m just not someone who...”

“That’s just how I am.”

And then... changed.

Not because I suddenly developed incredible willpower.

Sometimes I learned something new.
Sometimes my priorities changed.
Sometimes I tried something a different way.
Sometimes I just got older and apparently decided hot sauce wasn’t so scary anymore. 🤷🏼‍♀️🌶️

And I see women do this ALL THE TIME with their health.

“I’ll never be consistent.”

“I’ve always had a bad back.”

“I’m just not someone who works out.”

“I’ve leaked since I had kids.”

“I don’t have time.”

“I’ve tried everything.”

Maybe.

Or maybe what you’ve tried so far just hasn’t worked for the version of YOU that exists right now.

You are allowed to change your mind.

You are allowed to change your habits.

You are allowed to learn a different way.

And you definitely don’t have to keep doing something just because you’ve convinced yourself “that’s how I am.”

Xo to your big dreams 😘😘

Most people won’t do this, but if I needed to strengthen my core to be pain-free and present with my family by the holidays, this is exactly what I’d do: 👇

1. Practice daily breath awareness to help my nervous system let go of held tension. This makes connecting to the deep core so much easier.

2. Integrate small, intentional movements every day rather than relying on one big gym session that I might miss.

3. Use foundational pelvic floor exercises that build internal support instead of just doing endless crunches.

4. Apply the principle of progressive overload by adding slight intensity or time to movements only when my form feels solid.

5. Shift my focus from aesthetics to how my body feels while playing with my kids on the floor.

6. Prioritize rest and recovery just as much as the actual workouts to keep my energy levels consistent.

7. Audit my daily habits to make sure I am actually moving throughout the day, not just sitting for hours at a time.

No extremes.
No punishment.
No starting over every Monday.

Just discipline, consistency, and the boring stuff that actually works to build a body that feels good.

If you are not sure how to get started with this, (you’re not alone! So many women have no clue how to get all that ⬆️ worked into their life!)
And also 👋hi! That’s exactly@what I do!

5 things I would tell you if you’re waiting for the perfect magical right time to heal your core & pelvic floor 🪄

1. ✋STOP waiting for the perfect window of time.
There is no such thing as a free hour in a busy mom schedule. You have to learn how to integrate these movements into the chaotic reality you already live in.

2. Random YouTube videos are NOT a plan. 📉
Doing exercises you found online without knowing your specific pelvic floor needs is like trying to fix a leaky pipe with random tape. Get a plan that actually addresses YOUR issues & anatomy.

3. Accountability is not for the weak. ✅
It is for the busy. Having someone else check in makes you do the work you would otherwise push to tomorrow.

4. You do not need to do this alone. 🤝
Trying to figure out your postpartum body by reading forums is a recipe for frustration. Professional guidance saves you from months of trial and error.

5. Your why matters more than the sets and reps.
If you do not know :
1) Why you are breathing a certain way, gripping, holding tension or moving with a compensation you will often times quit when it doesn’t work.

AND
If you don’t know :

2) Why this is so important to you in your life, for you, your partner, family and every other part of your life that a functioning body that feels good effects. If you don’t, you’ll likely quit when things get hectic.
Find your personal driver and stick to it.

Healing is not about being perfect. It is about showing up and learning how to work with your body instead of against it. 🧘‍♀️✨

Do they actually have their s**t together?

Probably not. 😂

But they ARE taking care of themselves in some different ways that helps them feel strong, grounded, and like they’re not constantly one spilled snack away from losing it.

Here’s what they do differently:

1. They stop chasing workouts that look impressive.

They stop exercising for the aesthetic and start training for the life they actually live.

That means building a strong core, supporting their pelvic floor, and moving in a way that helps them feel better instead of more beat up.

2. They know how to hit pause.

When life starts life-ing, they don’t just white-knuckle their way through it.

They breathe.
They reset.
They regulate.

Because a regulated nervous system makes every other habit easier.

3. They stop believing every workout has to “count.”

Some days they lift heavy.

Some days they stretch.

Some days they walk.

Some days the biggest win is five minutes of mobility while dinner is in the oven.

They know consistency is built by showing up, not by being perfect.

4. They keep the important habits visible.

Not because they’re Type A...

Because life is busy.

Tracking a few simple habits keeps them from wondering why they feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves.

5. They stop trying to earn rest.

This one is HUGE.

They don’t wait until everything is done before they slow down...

Because everything is NEVER done.

They’ve learned that slowing down isn’t lazy.

It’s part of staying healthy enough to keep showing up.

Most people think having your s**t together means doing more.

I think it’s knowing what actually matters...
..and letting the rest wait.

If you’re ready to feel a little less overwhelmed and a lot more grounded, comment HABITS and I’ll send you my free Daily Habit Tracker. 💛

And send this to the mom who could use the reminder that she doesn’t have to do it all today.

Raise your hand if you thought fixing back pain meant...

🙋🏼‍♀️ Spending hours at the gym to get stronger .
🙋🏼‍♀️ Weekly chiro or massage appointments.
🙋🏼‍♀️Buying all the fancy pain relief tools
..Yeah. Me too.

Turns out one of the best places to start is literally lying in bed.

Your body can’t create a strong, supportive core if it’s stuck holding tension 24/7.

When you learn to breathe intentionally, you’re not “just breathing.” You’re:
✨ calming your nervous system
✨ reconnecting your deep core & pelvic floor
✨ creating the support your back has been begging for

It’s one of the smallest habits you can build... and one of the biggest game changers.

Because healing your core isn’t about crushing yourself every day.
It’s about teaching your body to work with you instead of against you.

If your back hurts, you’re leaking, or that stubborn lower belly pooch just won’t budge... don’t skip the foundation because it seems “too easy.”

Sometimes the simple stuff is the stuff that changes everything.

Somewhere along the way, so many moms started believing that taking care of themselves was selfish.

I don’t buy it.

Your kids don’t need a mom who’s running on empty.
They need a mom who has the energy to play, the strength to carry them, the confidence to laugh, and the joy to actually enjoy this season of life.

Taking care of yourself isn’t taking anything away from your family.

It’s one of the greatest gifts you can give them.
