Why do we take so many photos? 📸

The answer is simple: the camera sees things our eyes miss.

By viewing high-resolution images, we're able to catch tiny details—like early signs of wear and subtle color differences—that may not be as noticeable during a clinical exam alone. That extra level of detail helps us achieve the best possible result.

Dental photography is a key part of how we plan treatment, communicate with our dental lab, and create a natural-looking result. While many dental offices take very few clinical photos, we take pride in our dental photography because we believe great dentistry is all about the details.

Dr. Alex Maldonado was born and raised right here in Tampa, FL — so when he says he treats patients like family, he means it.
He went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University in NYC, then completed an advanced residency with the U.S. Air Force — getting extensive training in cosmetics, implants, oral surgery, sedation, and more.
His top priority is quality of care and making sure every patient feels truly looked after.
When he's not in the office, you can find him on the water fishing or spending time with his family.
