Another beautiful night with our Loved Ones! 💜 Session 4 of the Loved Ones Program brought Brittany Wright, MPH, IBCLC into the room to talk breastfeeding education and how partners, aunties, grandmas, and other loved ones can show up in support. Breastfeeding isn’t just on mom — it takes a village. 🤍

A huge thank you to the Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County for hosting us.

Missed it? Come through for Session 5 — “Becoming a Doula: Your Pathway Into Birthwork” — September 10, 6:00-7:30 PM at our TruDoulas Office. Free to attend, food provided. Link in bio to register.

When community leaders use their voice to support maternal health, families win. 💛

We’re grateful to Frankie Darcell for helping amplify a message that sits at the heart of our Loved Ones Program: moms need more than love; they need informed, intentional support from the people closest to them.

Our next Loved Ones session is coming up, and we’re inviting partners, family members, friends, and community members to join the conversation.

She needs more than your love. She needs your support.

Black women have been talked over on breastfeeding for too long. Not this month. TruDoulas of NJ is showing up loud with real support, real education, and zero judgment for every family who wants it. Two chances to pull up: Session 4, Breastfeeding Justice with Brittany Wright, Aug 13. Free breastfeeding consultations at our TruNourish cooking event, Aug 22 at Trent Towne. Link in bio. No more sitting quiet.

Did you know Black women are discouraged from breastfeeding?

Still reflecting on an incredible day at the Serenity & Slay Wellness Event. 💛

We were honored to have TruDoulas of New Jersey recognized and grateful to connect with so many community leaders, advocates, and the amazing Frankie Darcell. Every conversation reminded us why this work matters.

Here’s a quick look back—more moments from this unforgettable day are still on the way. ✨
