Join NJSNA at the Diagnosis 2 Recovery (D2R) Conference on June 24th at Montclair State University!

D2R is a SAMHSA-supported initiative based at MSU's School of Nursing, dedicated to providing free resources and support for professionals working with Substance Use Disorders, including training, webinars, podcasts, and more.

This year's conference, Systems of Care: Voices of Change, features a keynote address from NJSNA CEO Judy Schmidt: "From Advocacy to Impact: How Healthcare Professionals' Voices Shape the Future of Healthcare Policy." The session explores how nurses can turn clinical expertise into policy impact at the local and state levels.

The American Nurses Association (ANA) is aware of the legal actions taken recently challenging the Department of Education's rule excluding nursing and other health professions from the professional degree category for federal student loans.

ANA will file a joint suit with additional nursing organizations in a separate venue to make a nurse-specific case and maximize opportunities for the broadest relief possible.

ANA and its partners will continue this fight both in the courts and in the halls of Congress until nurses have full access to the resources needed to sustain the pipeline of graduate nurses, advanced practice nurses, and faculty that our healthcare system depends upon.
