We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and resident-driven LPN or RN to join our team as a Full-Time Day Shift Charge Nurse.

The ideal candidate is a dedicated nurse who takes pride in providing exceptional care, leading by example, and creating a positive environment for both our residents and staff. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve and who values teamwork, compassion, and quality resident care.

Qualifications:
• Current LPN or RN license
• Strong clinical and leadership skills
• Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care
• Reliable, professional, and a team player
• Long-term care experience preferred

Happy 4th of July from Dade Health and Rehab! Yesterday, we honored 250 years of Independence Day with a wonderful and joyful parade filled with patriotic spirit, laughter, and cheers shared by our residents, staff, families, and visitors. We would like to thank our staff, family members, visitors, and Tapestry Hospice for helping us make it happen. We couldn’t have done it without you. Your love made this celebration truly special! It was a beautiful day of freedom, love, and community. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

The physical & occupational therapy team at Dade H&R has another successful story! Congratulations to our sweet patient on crushing 👊🏼her short-term rehabilitation and returning home with her family! Through hard work and a positive attitude, she participated in functional strengthening, challenging dynamic balance activities, interventions to improve postural control, education for independence and reducing further falls! Our therapists executed a patient-centered approach, and she regained her strength, balance, independence, and confidence. It has been a joy and honor to be part of her journey! Our hearts were truly warmed and we wish her all the best as she continues enjoying life at home, including returning to play her beautiful piano music.

What a DAY at Dade Health and Rehab!

This morning we started off right enjoying coffee and snacks with our residents outside in the beautiful weather. We listened to gospel music and played “Name That Tune." Such a sweet way to kick off the day!

And.....the treats just KEPT coming!

Huge shout-out to Cathy Worley with Tapestry Hospice for bringing us the most amazing refreshers, snow cones, and dirty drinks for our staff AND residents. They were so good! Our residents loved them and keep asking for more, lol! Thank you, Cath & Tapestry! We really appreciate you guys!

And also a big thank you to our very own DON Dexter Walsh for grilling us bologna sandwiches. They were delicious and we are so grateful! Thank you!

Plus, thank you to Ms. Patricia Stevens’ son Jeff for the cupcakes for her birthday!🎂 Full bellies, full hearts, and lots of smiles around here. We are SO thankful for everyone who loves on us.❤️

Last week, our therapy department was honored to provide a special Mother’s Day Spa morning for our wonderful female residents. Each lady enjoyed a hand soak, hand massage, and facial! It was a morning filled with relaxation, pampering, laughter, and smiles — a small way to show appreciation for the love and wisdom they have shared throughout their lives. They truly deserved every moment, and seeing them enjoy themselves made the day extra special for all of us. It is an honor to love these special ladies! 💗

Today was the kickoff of Nursing Home Week at Dade Health and Rehab.
This year’s theme is "🌺Moments in Bloom🌺." This morning we made bracelets and enjoyed kettle corn as a snack, and this afternoon we had Hibachi on the patio with our residents, staff, and family members. We also had Kona Ice for a refreshing treat. Thanks to our Nursing Department and Respiratory Team and to our very own DON, Dexter Walsh, for cooking the delicious kettle corn and Hibachi and for our very own RRT, Brianna and our CNA, Amy Smith for helping us make bracelets.🌸🍧 📿

🌱 Planting Event for Nursing Home Week 🌱

Hello Friends & Neighbors,

We’re excited to celebrate *Nursing Home Week* with a special Planting Event for our residents on Thursday, May 14th!

Gardening brings so much joy, purpose, and beautiful memories to our residents. To make this day extra special, we are kindly asking our community for plant donations.

*We would gratefully accept:*
- Flowers - annuals, perennials, or potted plants
- Vegetable plants or herbs
- Bags of potting soil
- Small gardening tools or pots

Every donation, big or small, is deeply appreciated and will help our residents dig in, smile, and watch something beautiful grow.

If you would like to donate, please drop items off at Dade Health and Rehab, 1234 Highway 301 Trenton, Ga. or contact us at 706-657-4171 and look for Charlin or Vicki to arrange pickup.

Dade Health & Rehab is hiring an Occupational Therapist for part-time or PRN! Our facility is small and that’s a huge benefit because we can slow down and provide one-on-one care.
We believe therapy should be meaningful, personalized, and centered around individual needs.
Must have GA license or be able to apply for one. Call the facility and ask for Jennifer.
