NJSSA wishes everyone a happy and healthy Fourth of July! 🎆

Anesthesiologists' role in our history has been ongoing for nearly two centuries transforming surgery from a painful last resort into one of medicine's safest fields. Since the first public demonstration of ether anesthesia at Mass. General Hospital, our specialty has become a cornerstone for patient safety in modern medical care.

Our history of patient advocacy is a long and proud one. Thank you to each member for your contributions.

Heather is currently in her fourth year at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and has a longstanding passion for the diverse and growing field of anesthesia.
