Funeral service for Brenda Gail (Tucker) Hearod, age 77, of Moulton, will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Milwee officiating. Mrs. Hearod, who died Monday, June 22, 2026, at her residence, was born February 11, 1949, in Alabama to Wilburn Brock Tucker and Hazel Louise Black Tucker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Hearod; parents, Wilburn and Hazel; brother, Wilburn Brock Tucker,Jr. (Susan); three sisters, Joan Johnson (Gene), Carol Ann Smith (Clarence), and Beatrice Barber (Jimmy "Fuzzy"); and grandchild, Lonnie Busbey.

Brenda was a kind and caring woman who never met a stranger. She loved everyone she encountered and touched countless lives with her warmth, generosity, and compassion. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who gave wholeheartedly to those she loved.

Her greatest blessings were her two sons, who were truly the center of her world. She loved them deeply and took great pride in the men they became. Brenda dedicated 31 years of service to 3M in Decatur, where she was known for her hard work and dedication. During her years there, she formed many lifelong friendships that she cherished. She looked forward to the monthly breakfasts and lunches with her coworkers and friends and continued attending whenever possible until her health no longer allowed her to do so. She loved to travel, and treasured every opportunity to spend time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed adventures with her best friend, with whom she was affectionately known as "Thelma and Louise." Together they shared countless memories and traveled many miles. We take comfort in
believing they are reunited once again.

Brenda was a faithful member of Mount View Baptist Church. She loved attending Sunday School and cherished the fellowship of the ladies in her class. Her faith was an important part of her life and a source of strength throughout the years.

Though our hearts are saddened by her passing, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life and find peace in knowing that one day we will see her again. Brenda's love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends will be remembered and treasured always.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Hastings (Charlotte) and Matthew Hastings (Rita); sister, Vickie Shackleford (Don); five grandchildren, Nicholas Hastings, Kasey Hastings, Austin Hill (Brandie), Cody Busbey (Anna Marie), and Christopher Hastings (Melinda); and 15 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Edward Smith, Nic Hastings, Cody Busbey, Christopher Hastings, Austin Hill, and Jacob Heflin.

Ms. Jones, who died Sunday, June 21, 2026, at River City Center, was born June 23, 1946, in Alabama to William E. Sullivan and Mamie Lee Treadway Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Horn; daughter, Jenette Horn; parents; brother, Jimmy Sullivan; and sister, Diane Kyle.

She is survived by her daughter, Hope Horn; brother, David Sullivan; sisters, Nadine Cottingham and Betty Grigsby; and a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and extended family.

Mr. Hutto, who died Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Huntsville Hospital, was born December 23, 1952, in Alabama to Cecil Bailey Hutto and Bobbie Lou Kirby Hutto. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marcie Michelle Hutto; late wife, Donita Gail Terry Hutto; parents; and brother, Timothy LeBraun Hutto (Marshell).

David passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026, at his home in Moulton, AL. He was born January 30, 1962, in Decatur, to Leonard "Buck" Terry, Jr. and Stella Darlene Terry Rucker. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Paula Byars Terry; parents; stepfather, Norman Rucker; stepmother, Barbara L. Terry; brother, Lee Terry; and half-sister, Barbara Lawrence. David was a graduate of Lawrence County High School. Following many years of service with Copeland Corporation and International Paper, David was employed with Essity in Barton, AL.

He is survived by his daughter, Morgan Terry; brother, Carl Terry (Lynn); sister, Regina Terry Roberts; half-sister, Susan Terry; sister-in-law, Trish Terry; and two grandchildren, Brody and Sophie; and several nephews and nieces.

Rev. Robert Nelson Laremore, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on Sunday, June 7 th , 2026, surrounded by his family.

Born on April 3rd , 1944 in Indianapolis, IN, Deacon Bob lived a life marked by Christian discipleship, kindness, caring for others, hard work, and devotion to his family. He was known for his generous spirit, integrity & strength of character, sense of humor, and the love he shared with those around him.

Bob is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Becky Ann (Brunson) Laremore; three children, Dawn Marie Fisher (Doug), Matthew David Laremore, and Michelle Denise Jordan (Alan); eight grandchildren, Nathan, Ryan, Devin (Julia), and Justin Fisher, Joseph and Lillian Laremore, Andrew and Jessie Jordan; and two great-grandchildren, Calvin and Phoebe Laremore.

Bob graduated from St. Meinrad High School in 1962, and Marian College in 1966, both in Indiana. He met Becky at Marion, and they were married November 5, 1966. They lived in Indianapolis, IN until they moved to Ft. Worth, TX in 1976. Bob attended weekend seminary courses while working full-time as a chemist and was ordained a permanent deacon in the Catholic church on October 30, 1982, with the Ft. Worth Diocese. He left his profession as a chemist to pursue ministry full-time in 1983 and served as Assistant Pastor at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denton, Tx. In 1993, Bob and Becky were commissioned by Glenmary Home Missions to establish a Catholic mission in Lawrence County, AL. Living near Moulton, Bob collaborated with the Baptist Association, Rotary Club, and other local churches and organizations to establish the Good Samaritan Outreach Program, which served Lawrence County, AL. Bob retired from Glenmary in 2009.

Bob and Becky began camping and volunteering in the National Parks and Wildlife Refuges until the COVID pandemic hit the U.S. They traveled to see state parks, friends, and family across the U.S., treasuring the people and places they visited. Bob is remembered for his sense of humor, his love of God’s creation in nature and people, and love for the Dallas Cowboys and his country. He will be deeply missed and remembered with love.

Robert Nelson Laremore will be honored by a Memorial Mass at Resurrection Catholic Chapel, in Moulton, AL on Friday, June 12, 2026, and will be buried in Washington Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN. The family would like to thank the staff at Decatur Morgan Hospital, Centerwell Home Health, and Hospice of North Alabama for the excellent care they provided.

Matthew, who died Friday, June 5, 2026, at his residence, was born August 4, 1980, in Alabama to Roger Luallen and Monica Gail Rylant Luallen. He was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his father, Roger Luallen; sister, Autumn Taarea (Roberto); nephews, Ethan and Evan Curnel; and niece, Hannah Taarea.
