Can you believe it's already time to start thinking about heading back to school? While you're packing bookbags for the first day, don't forget to check on your child's vaccine status. Rising Kindergartners, 7th graders, and 12th graders are required to have certain vaccines before returning to school. If you are unsure of your child's status, you can contact your provider. If you know your child is due for vaccines, schedule an appointment with their provider before the start of the new school year. If your child is uninsured or on Medicaid, you can contact the Montgomery County Department of Health at 910-572-1393 to schedule an appointment for their vaccinations.
¿Puedes creer que ya es hora de pensar en el regreso a clases? Mientras preparas las mochilas para el primer día de escuela, no olvides revisar el estado de vacunación de tus hijos. Los niños que comenzaran el kínder, 7º grado y 12º grado necesitan tener al día las vacunas requeridas antes de regresar a clases. Si no estas seguro del estado de vacunación de tu hijo, puedes contactar a tu médico. Si sabes que a tu hijo le hacen falta vacunas, programa una cita con tu medico antes de que comience el nuevo año escolar.
