Krystal Renea Shiver of Troy, AL, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026, at her residence. She was 36. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Riverview Baptist Church with Brother Travis Meeks officiating. Skeen Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Krystal was born Wednesday, December 6, 1989, in Ozark, AL. She is preceded in death by her father, Timothy Henderson. She is survived by her husband, Michael Heath Shiver; a son, Asher Shiver; three daughters: Khloe Shiver, Kinsley Shiver, and Paisley Shiver; mother, Jackie Bass; step-mother, Cille Henderson; two sisters, Haley Dansby and Heather Henderson; two brothers, Justin Dansby and Jeremy Holland; grandfather, Henry Henderson; grandmother, Betty Henderson; aunt, Kathy Watson; uncle, Pat Watson; cousins, Gabie and Tony Peed.

Mr. Ronald E. Bradley of Troy, AL passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. He was 57. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2026 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Alvie Walker officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Ronald was born February 22, 1969 in Pike County, AL. He was a devoted Alabama fan who never missed an opportunity to cheer on the Crimson Tide. He loved to “shoot the bull,” talk a little smack, and share a good laugh with those around him. He especially cherished spending time with his great-nieces and great-nephews, who brought him great joy. He also enjoyed NASCAR, had a special appreciation for big trucks, and looked forward to attending and volunteering at the Henderson Bluegrass Festival. He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Sikes; step-father, William Sikes; grandmother, Nettie Mae Barr; sister, Linda Whitt; nephews, Timothy Walker and Mathew Trawick. He is survived by his siblings Tony Register, Pasadena , TX, Charles Register (Brenda), Troy, Freddie Bradley (Sandra), Troy, Phillip Bradley (Cora), Troy, Jennifer Hataway (Lonnie), Ponce de Leon, FL, Norma Turner (Mark), Springhill, AL, Eugene Kilpatrick (Patricia), Troy, Shannon Sikes, Troy; numerous nieces and numerous nephews.

Mary Catherine Doster of Ariton, AL. passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Troy Regional Medical Center. She was 81 Skeen Funeral Home will be assisting the Doster family with a simple cremation. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

She was born July 8, 1945 in Barbour County, AL to the late J.T. Doster and Minnie Gladys Flowers Doster. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Jewell Baker, James Doster, Dorothy Daniels, Louise Doster, Helen Senn and Villa Mae Carr.

Mary Catherine is gone but not forgotten!!! She loved her dogs and gardening.

She is survived by her brother, J.D. Doster, Brundidge; her special friend, Carol McRae, Clio, AL; and many nieces and nephews.

Dawn Ann Childs of Ariton, AL, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2026 at her residence. She was 57. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Springhill Emmanuel Church with Pastor Wilburn Kirkland officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Baptist Church Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Springhill Emmanuel Church. Mrs. Dawn Childs was born May 30, 1969, in Pensacola, FL, to Donnie Manning and Diane Blanchard. She will be remembered most for her deep love for her family, her kindness toward others, and her steadfast faith in God. Mrs. Childs was preceded in death by her mother, Diane Blanchard, and her sister, Sarah Manning. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Chris Childs; daughter, Iva Manning (Dustin); son, Derek Childs (Hannah); grandchildren: Aayla Emsley, Aurora Emsley, Ethan Emsley, Alexander Childs, and many more; father, Donnie Manning; brothers, Donnie Manning Jr. and Richie Shehee; sister, Julie Owens; aunt, Donna Carter; numerous nieces and nephews. The following will be serving as pallbearers: Abe Childs, Corbin ‘Ace’ Childs, Matthew Childs, Morris Childs, Joseph Gibson, Billy Ray Gibson, Buddy Parker, and Michael Childs.
