HPV causes more types of cancer than most of the general public realizes and effects both men and women. Vaccinating yourself against it is the best way to decrease your likelihood of developing things like oropharyngeal cancer, vulvar/vaginal cancer, a**l cancer, or pe**le cancer.

We are taking care of patients with female anatomy, but we care about spreading awareness to protect you as well as your loves ones.

It's the fourth leading type of cancer for women across the world, but cervical cancer has possibly met its match. A new study of the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine in the U.K. has demonstrated a 100 percent decrease in cancer deaths across five years—an incredibly rare result. While zero doesn’t mean there’s no chance of death, it still indicates a remarkable level of effectiveness.

Therapy is so good for us for so many reasons! Here is just another good reason to start.

This recent study shows how cognitive behavior therapy can help alleviate insomnia and vasomotor symptoms that so many menopausal women suffer from.

Methods: Forty-three participants (mean age = 53.6 y) self-described as perimenopausal or postmenopausal who reported at minimum ≥ 1 nocturnal hot flash/night and met diagnostic criteria for insomnia disorder were randomized to cognitive behavioral therapy for menopausal insomnia (CBT-MI) or menop...

This article is a really interesting read. It addresses generations of women, their partners, and physicians from certain generations who don't have all the information they need to optimize their s*x lives. S*x isn't a shameful subject. As more time/energy is put into research on women's health we hope to help open up the dialogue between patients with their providers and partners to empower them in advocating for themselves to obtain the ingredients for successful s*xual encounters.

We may have a libido problem. We definitely have a knowledge problem and a menu that was never designed for female biology. Most women have never been offered the right diagnosis.

We have a important victory in the field of Women's Health that we want to celebrate! PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) has a new, more appropriate name of PMOS (polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome). This change has been 14 years in the making, and will hopefully mean earlier diagnosis for women effected by the condition and better, more effective treatment of the diverse metabolic and endocrine issues it causes.

Polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), previously named polycystic o***y syndrome (PCOS), affects one in eight women. However, the term PCOS is inaccurate, implying pathological ovarian cysts, obscuring diverse endocrine and metabolic features, and contributing to delayed diagnosis, fragme...
