“To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1
As we gathered for our Wild Heart retreat this past weekend, we spent time reflecting on Ecclesiastes 3. We asked each woman a simple question: What season of life are you in right now?
Their answers were honest and heartbreaking.
“A time to heal.”
“A time to weep.”
“A time to mourn.”
“A time to tear down.”
And that is exactly what this weekend held.
There were tears. Difficult stories shared. Years of grief, regret, and pain brought into the light. There were moments of deep sadness, but also moments of beautiful connection, courage, and healing.
Healing isn't always pretty. Sometimes it begins with tears we've held back for years, truths we've been afraid to speak, and walls we've built around our hearts that finally begin to come down.
But what a privilege it is to witness God at work in these tender places.
We are so grateful for the women who courageously stepped into this weekend, for our facilitators who walked alongside them, and for everyone who prayed and helped make this retreat possible.
There is a time for everything. And we believe that even in the seasons of weeping and mourning, God is making room for something new.
