What a privilege it was to share the stage in Kalispell with these incredible women who are each serving the pro-life movement in unique and meaningful ways.

Our stories, experiences, and areas of ministry may be different, but we are united by a common belief: every human life has inherent value and dignity, and every woman deserves compassion, support, and hope.

I was honored to represent Wild Heart Ministries and to share about the often-overlooked reality of abortion recovery and the healing that is available through Jesus Christ. It was encouraging to see so many people gathered to listen, learn, and engage in thoughtful conversation about how we can better serve women, children, and families.

Thank you to Flathead ProLife for the invitation, and to my fellow panelists Abort Ignorance Montana, Kristen Irene Ruth Neumann and Hope Pregnancy Ministries for your wisdom and dedication, and to everyone who attended. I left encouraged and reminded that we are stronger when we work together.

Today was the final day of our Wild Heart Retreat.

Over the last few days, women have courageously stepped into conversations many have spent years avoiding. We talked about anger, denial, depression, forgiveness, grief, and the character of a God who sees every wound and every tear.

Today, we gathered for a memorial service.

For many women, abortion is a loss that was never acknowledged. A grief that was never named. A pain that was buried beneath years of survival, busyness, addiction, relationships, achievement, or simply trying not to think about it.

But healing often begins when we stop running.

Ecclesiastes tells us there is "a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance."

This weekend, we did them all.

We cried. We laughed. We remembered. We grieved. We worshipped. And we witnessed the gentle kindness of Jesus meeting women right where they are.

If you're reading this and carrying the weight of a past abortion, please know this:

You are not beyond God's reach.
You are not disqualified from His love.
You do not have to carry your shame forever.
Healing is possible.
There is hope.
And there is a God who still restores broken hearts.

Psalm 147:3 says "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

Every week, women find Wild Heart Ministries while searching online for answers, hope, and healing after abortion.

Many are carrying shame, grief, regret, anger, or loneliness and have never told anyone their story. Others have spent years believing they are beyond forgiveness or that healing is impossible.

We're excited to share that Wild Heart Ministries has been awarded a $2,000 grant from the Amicus Foundation to support our online outreach efforts. This funding will help us connect with more women who are searching for healing and let them know they do not have to walk this journey alone.

As we prepare for our upcoming retreat and continue to expand our outreach, we're grateful for partners who believe in the work of restoration and are helping us reach women who may otherwise never find us.

At Wild Heart Ministries, we meet women right in that place.

We offer free, 4-day, faith-centered healing retreats for women who are struggling after abortion. These weekends are intimate, deeply personal, and grounded in the truth of the Gospel—that no one is beyond God’s mercy, and freedom is possible.

As we close out April—Abortion Recovery Awareness Month…we don’t want to end without saying this clearly:

Real healing is possible. And it’s found in Jesus.

Not in pretending it didn’t happen. Not in trying to “move on.”
Not in holding it together on the outside while something inside still feels unsettled.

Jesus meets us in the places we’d rather hide...the regret, the grief, the shame we've carried for years, the parts of our story we've never said out loud.

He doesn’t turn away from it, He steps into it.
Not with condemnation, but with mercy.
Not with distance, but with nearness.

And for many women… that’s the hardest part to believe.

That He would still want them. That He would still love them.
That what they’ve done hasn’t disqualified them.

But the truth is—
His grace goes deeper than our sin.
His mercy is not fragile.
And His desire is to restore, not reject.

Healing doesn’t happen all at once.

It’s often slow. Honest. Sometimes uncomfortable. But it’s real.

And you don’t have to walk into it alone.

At Wild Heart Ministries, we create space for women to encounter that kind of healing—through small, intimate, trauma-informed retreats centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
