White Oak residents explored Chimney Rock and Lake Lure, noting the area's significant progress since the destruction caused by Hurricane Helene, while recognizing that additional recovery efforts are required. We supported local businesses in Chimney Rock, and all merchants expressed gratitude for our visit. A leisurely lunch at La Strada, overlooking Lake Lure, followed, with everyone thoroughly enjoying their meals and eagerly anticipating their next visit. We encourage others to visit the area, as our expenditures contribute to its revitalization.

This Memorial Day, the White Oak Village at Tryon family pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸 We are profoundly grateful for their courage, dedication, and selflessness. Today, we hold their memories close and extend our deepest gratitude to the families they left behind.

We had a wonderful time lunching at Holiday Brewing in Inman on Thursday! So much so, that we forgot to take pictures! So the bunch thought why not diversify the pics and show everyone’s smiling faces on the bus ride home.

White Oak Village resident Mary McElroy commemorated her birthday with an exciting BINGO Bash. Residents received a gift for each win, and the cover-all final game featured a $100 prize. Two residents emerged victorious and split the winnings. The celebration was a wonderful way to honor Mary on her birthday. Happy Birthday, Mary!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream 🍨, especially from Strawberry Hill 🍓. The residents' faces showed their obvious enjoyment of the afternoon. Afterwards, we went to The Shed for fresh strawberries and vegetables. Until next time…

!Feliz Cinco de Mayo! We celebrated Cinco de Mayo in style with a mouthwatering meal prepared by our skilled Dietary team, margaritas were flowing and the sound of laughter filled the air on this beautiful day! The Tiki Bar built by resident, Bob Bolen was a highlight of the celebration! We thank all who attended and contributed from setup to cleaning up afterwards.
