One of the best days of the week—aside from trip days—is Tuesday, when our Neighborhood Walking Club enjoys a stroll through the beautiful village of Tuckahoe. Quaint homes, friendly neighbors, and gorgeous flowers line the streets, making every walk a pleasure. If you happen to see us out enjoying the neighborhood, be sure to give us a friendly honk and a wave next time!

Our America 250 adventures continue! This week, we explored the 1665 Saint Paul’s Church, which served as a major hospital during the Revolutionary War for American, British, and Hessian troops. A special shoutout to Tuckahoe marble, featured at the church’s entrance and still standing strong after all these years. It's incredible to see so much history preserved in one place and to experience the stories that helped shape our nation.

Our next big fundraiser is coming up in September: the Walk to End Alzheimer's Tag Sale. If you have any gently used items you'd like to donate, we'd be happy to take them off your hands. All proceeds from the tag sale will benefit the Alzheimer's Association. Thank you for helping us make a difference!

Last week, we enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea at Wave Hill’s beautiful country estate built in 1843. Over the years, it served as the summer home of several wealthy families before opening to the public as one of New York City's most stunning gardens. We had a wonderful time exploring the grounds and sharing the experience together. We can't wait to bring our second group in August. See you all then!

It was a privilege to spend the afternoon with George and Martha Washington as we continue celebrating our nation's 250th birthday. A heartfelt thank you to Michael and Maria for an unforgettable afternoon. Your passion for bringing history to life truly shines through. As you said, "This is our Christmas," and it shows in every detail. Thank you for making this celebration so memorable! #250
