🌟 Mindful Moment 🌟
Throughout your day, pause and look for one thing that sparks joy — no matter how small. A cup of coffee or tea in your favorite mug,, something pretty or unusual in nature, sharing a laugh, your pet laying in the sun — joy hides in the little things.
📸 Take a picture.
✏️ Sketch it.
📝 Write about it.
💭 Most importantly, STOP and notice how it feels in your body. Be present with it.
When we slow down and intentionally notice joy, we train our minds to find more of it. It’s a simple act, but one that boosts your mood and nurtures your well-being.
Let this be your reminder: Joy is already here. You just have to look!

Intown is so excited to welcome Karen as the newest member on our team. Karen obtained her masters at UGA and completed her internship with Hillside Atlanta. She works with clients from adolescence through adulthood, with a particular passion for supporting teens and young adults. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing. Karen believes that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change and believes in the power of radical kindness—showing up with empathy, accountability, and genuine care, even when life feels painful, messy, or uncertain.
