Hello, my name is Kimberly. I am the Front Office Coordinator here at Fyzical in Tucker. I have over five years of experience ensuring great customer care!

I was born and raised in Lilburn, Georgia. I graduated from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville with a Creative Writing degree. I also did a semester abroad in Hirakata, Japan to study Japanese literature/language.

I am an artist. I enjoy photography, drawing portraits and I’m working on a novel. I have one kitty named Emma. She is an elderly little lady that loves treats and a good lap! I’m an avid cook and I love a challenging hike! Fun fact, I’ve gotten over 10,000 steps a day for 2,070 days in a row… and counting!

Hi, I’m Dr. Ikraan Sheekh Nuur, PT, DPT, a Physical Therapist at FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers – Tucker. Please feel free to call me Ikraan (ee-KRAHN).

I was first introduced to physical therapy by accompanying my mom to her appointments and helping translate for her. Being in that environment and seeing the difference it made when someone felt truly understood left a lasting impression on me. That experience ultimately led me to pursue a career in physical therapy.

I am originally Somali and grew up in Saudi Arabia before moving to the United States in 2010. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Ithaca College in 2024.

My clinical interests include sports rehabilitation, pelvic floor therapy, and working with older adults. What I enjoy most about this field is getting to know each patient’s story and helping them reconnect with their body while finding meaningful motivation to improve their lifestyle.

I am certified in Dry Needling (DN 1 and 2) and have completed Herman & Wallace pelvic floor training, which I plan to continue advancing. I am also working toward becoming an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).

Outside of work, I enjoy running, lifting weights, traveling, exploring new places, hiking, and spending time with the people I love.

Hello, I am Claire Yurko a Physical Therapist at FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers - Tucker.

I was introduced to physical therapy after I experienced a knee injury playing soccer in high school. I was intrigued by the rehab environment. The combination of clinical knowledge of anatomy and the art of tailoring treatment to the individual fascinated me. Physical therapy for my injury gave me back my ability to move and enjoy activities with my body, something I wanted to provide for others.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at Georgia College and State University in 2010 and immediately pursued my graduate degree at Georgia State University. While in graduate school I was able to pair my love of travel with my desire to continue growing my physical therapy knowledge by completing a two-month orthopedic internship at Istituto Clinico Tiberino in Umbertide, Italy. Alas, I didn't learn Italian but I am so grateful for my wise Italian mentors and the friendly patients.

My fascination with physical therapy has only grown and I look forward to learning more about the capabilities and processes of the human body throughout my life. Since graduating with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, I've completed two Orthopedic residency programs. Both programs fine-tuned my eyes to observe the nuance of movement and calibrated my hands to better assess soft tissue restrictions.

Other than rejoicing in movement I also enjoy crafts, cooking, and reading with as many cats piled on my lap as possible.

Hi, I’m Kimberly Stanford, owner and Physical Therapist at FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers - Tucker, and a resident of Tucker, GA. Please call me Kim. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, specializing in Orthopedics with a keen interest in Spinal Rehabilitation and Balance Therapy.

Originally from Barbados, I moved to the United States after receiving a Division I Women’s Track and Field scholarship to Rice University, where I competed in the 100 meter hurdles and earned a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2011. I then completed my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Texas Woman’s University in 2017 and pursued a Postgraduate Residency in Orthopedic Physical Therapy with an emphasis on spinal rehabilitation.

Outside of work, I enjoy working out, indulging in great food, and traveling back to Barbados with my family. I am married with three wonderful kids. My passion for Physical Therapy stems from my love for spending time with my patients and teaching them how to stay active and LOVE THEIR LIFE!
