Fasciae is a connective tissue that surrounds every muscle, blood vessel, organ, bone and nerve fiber. It does more than provide internal structure & it has nerve fibers that make it almost as sensitive as skin. Fascia is the thin clear egg yolk film you see on a raw drumsticks or like the piece of meat in the video. It can get bunched up like cellophane which is difficult to stretch out after it’s bunched up. This can happen with repetitive motion, injury, bad posture & body mechanics. Fascia is where it’s at!! This is why it’s important to warm up the fascia before treating the muscles.
