Finding the right treatment center can feel like searching for a lighthouse in a storm. You aren’t just looking for a program; you’re looking for a place where you or your loved one can finally feel safe, understood, and supported.

To help you find the clarity you need, here are 5 questions to ask before choosing a facility:

• Are you Joint Commission accredited? This accreditation is a mark of clinical excellence and safety you should never compromise on.

• Is your care trauma-informed? Healing requires digging into the underlying causes: like depression or PTSD: rather than just treating the surface.

• Do you offer a full continuum of care? Your journey doesn't end after detox. Ensure they offer residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient programs to maintain your momentum.

• How do you treat dual diagnosis? Addiction and mental health are often linked; they must be treated together for lasting recovery.

• Is the environment conducive to healing? A serene, respectful, and private setting helps you focus entirely on your progress.

At Catalina Behavioral Health, we pride ourselves on being a trusted guide through this transition. From our tranquil desert location in the Tucson foothills to our individualized therapy, every detail is designed to help you reclaim your legacy.

We know how much courage it takes to reach out. If you have questions or just need a compassionate ear, we’re here to listen.

Every life lost to overdose matters. Every family and community affected deserves compassion, support, and hope.

On August 31, we remember those we’ve lost and work to reduce the stigma that can keep people from seeking help. Asking for support is an act of courage: not a moral failure.

Prevention starts with trusted information. Learn how to recognize an overdose, access naloxone, and respond safely through resources from the CDC, SAMHSA, and your local public-health department. If someone may be experiencing an overdose, call 911 and follow the dispatcher’s instructions.

Evidence-based treatment can address substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns with dignity and respect. A private conversation can be a meaningful first step toward stability and healing.

Grief has no timeline.

On National Grief Awareness Day, we’re holding space for the many forms grief can take: including the complicated emotions that may follow losing someone to overdose or addiction.

You may feel sadness, anger, guilt, relief, confusion, or something difficult to name. There is no “right” way to grieve, and you deserve support without judgment.

If grief begins to feel overwhelming, professional mental health care can provide a safe place to process your experience and find steady ground: one step at a time.

Catalina Behavioral Health is here to listen. For confidential, compassionate support, call (877) 468-0754.

Treating addiction without involving the family is like trying to patch a tire while the car is still running. You might fix the immediate leak, but the journey forward remains bumpy if the rest of the system isn't aligned.

At Catalina Behavioral Health, we know that recovery doesn’t happen in isolation. Addiction and mental health challenges affect the entire family, creating ripples that touch every relationship. That’s why our family program is a core differentiator of our care.

We don’t just focus on the individual; we work to heal the entire family system. By providing education, therapy, and a safe space for open communication, we help families break old patterns and build a new foundation of trust. True, lasting recovery requires everyone moving in the same direction, supporting one another with clarity and compassion.

You don’t have to navigate this transition alone. We believe that when the family heals together, the recovery lasts.

We’re here to listen and help you find the momentum your family deserves. Reach out to Catalina Behavioral Health at (877) 468-0754 to learn more about our comprehensive programs.

Prevention starts with knowledge: and compassion.

Counterfeit pills can look like legitimate medications but may contain fentanyl. Learning how to recognize the risks, understand overdose warning signs, and access naloxone can help protect the people you care about.

On National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day, consider:
• Learning about counterfeit pills and fentanyl risks
• Carrying naloxone where appropriate and learning how to use it
• Knowing the signs of an overdose and what to do
• Reaching out to qualified professionals for confidential support

If substance use or co-occurring mental health concerns are affecting your life or family, you don’t have to navigate them alone. Catalina Behavioral Health offers evidence-based, compassionate care in a respectful setting.

We’re here to listen. Call Catalina Behavioral Health at (877) 468-0754 to take a confidential next step.
