Nancy Lynn Neill (née Sabo), age 79, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2026.
Born on February 25, 1947, in Dearborn, Michigan, Nancy moved to Glendora, California, at a young age. Her youth was filled with vibrant memories; she worked as a volunteer candy striper, attended cosmetology school, and was a talented teen model featured in several local newspapers, including when she was crowned Miss Teen Glendora.
After marrying LTC David Shaw Neill, Nancy spent her early years raising her family. She later returned to school to become a licensed practical nurse (LPN), working for the University of Arizona and Pima Home Health.
Nancy lived in several places throughout her life, creating homes in Southern California—including Westminster, Huntington Beach, Simi Valley, and Ventura. Later moving to Arizona, she lived in Tucson, Carefree, Bellemont, and Parks, where she and her husband built a custom log home. She ultimately spent her final years in Tucson, enjoying travel and the warmth of her loved ones. Above all, her greatest pride was her three children and six grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, LTC David Shaw Neill; her parents, William Andrew Sabo and Dorothy Burkley Sabo; and her sister, Pamela Wallstrom.
