Blessed I am to have a Black Dad 🤴🏾
When he had no father present showing him the way
Thank you for always leaning in
And bringing me into this world through love
Thank you for always wanting me
And shouting my name in support and encouragement
Thank you for efforting to heal
And now recognizing and breaking generational patterns together
To all the Dads today, may you feel celebrated, recognized and seen for the stewarding of the legends you’re raising. If you see this may you be able to feel pride for the way you’ve chosen to show up and from one grateful son, thank you✊🏽
