Loaded carries are a great functional exercise you can add to your training. There are countless ways to perform them, and each variation challenges your body a little differently—all while building strength that carries over to everyday life.
✅ Farmer’s Carry (weight in each hand): Builds full-body strength, grip strength, and posture—making everyday tasks like carrying groceries, luggage, or heavy boxes feel easier.
✅ Suitcase Carry (weight on one side): Challenges your body to resist side bending, improving stability and addressing asymmetries—helping you stay strong and steady when carrying a child, a laundry basket, or a heavy bag on one side.
✅ Rack Carry + Farmer’s Carry (weight at 90° in one hand and a weight at your side in the other): Improves shoulder endurance, upper-body control, and your ability to manage uneven loads—just like carrying multiple bags or awkward objects around the house.
The stronger and more coordinated you are under load, the more confident you’ll feel during the activities you do every day. 💪
