RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) leaders and team members from across the Pennant network came together this week for training, collaboration, and connection. Diving in together to share knowledge and best practices to drive operational excellence across our affiliate operations. Topics covered the entire revenue cycle management process from intake to appeals. This time was a great reminder that excellence is built through people who are committed to growing side by side.

As they wrap up their time together today, we’re grateful for the dedication, accountability, and teamwork this group brings in supporting life-changing service across the Pennant network.

Last night, the Emblem family celebrated someone who has poured her heart into this work for the last 8 years — our beloved Bereavement Coordinator, Kate Wales. 💙

Kate’s compassion, selflessness, and steady presence have touched countless families, patients, coworkers, and friends throughout her time with us. The kind of care she gives cannot be taught; it comes from a truly extraordinary heart.

One person at the restaurant told Kate, “The energy coming from your group is so warm and amazing,” and honestly, that says everything about the kind of love and connection she helped build here at Emblem.

While we will miss her deeply in her retirement, we are beyond grateful for the legacy of kindness, comfort, and family she leaves behind. Thank you, Kate, for giving so much of yourself to others. You will always be part of the Emblem family. 🕊️
