The Skin Cancer Institute is happy to announce that the FDA has approved a new sunscreen ingredient known as bemotrizinol (BEMT) for use in the United States! BEMT has been on the market in Europe and Asia for many years and is considered SAFE and effective at protecting the skin from both UVA and UVB radiation. Be on the look out for BEMT and its brand name PARSOL Shield in the near future!!
