🎓🎉 TRIUMPH TUESDAY: A STORY OF STRENGTH, PERSEVERANCE, AND POSSIBILITY! 🎉🎓

Some journeys are filled with more obstacles than others, but what matters most is the determination to keep moving forward! 💪❤️

Today, we are incredibly proud to celebrate Jordan’s graduation from SAAVI’s ETS program! 🎓

Jordan’s journey has been anything but easy. He has faced more than his fair share of battles, including glaucoma, retinitis pigmentosa, corneal disease, cataracts, and depression. But through it all, Jordan has continued to push forward, refusing to let life’s challenges determine his future.

With hard work, perseverance, the right tools, and a strong support system, Jordan has developed the skills, confidence, and independence to take on whatever comes next!

His story is a powerful reminder that our challenges may shape our journeys, but they do not have to define our possibilities.

Jordan, we know the road hasn’t always been easy, but look how far you’ve come! The world is waiting, and you’re ready to take it on! 🌎💙

Congratulations, Jordan! Your next chapter starts NOW! 🎉👏

🦯🌵 Throwback Thursday — International Off-Road Day!
Who says off-roading requires four wheels? 😎
Today we’re throwing it back to our SAAVI students taking their cane skills off the pavement and onto some rough terrain! Dirt, rocks, uneven ground, construction zones—you never know what an independent traveler might encounter.
With all the exciting improvements being made along Grant Road, our Tucson students may not have to practice quite as much “urban off-roading” in the future. 😂 But knowing how to confidently navigate uneven terrain with a white cane is still a terrific skill to have!
At SAAVI, Orientation & Mobility training prepares students for wherever the road—or lack of one—takes them. 🦯💪

🎉 Triumph Tuesday! 🎉Today we’re celebrating a huge milestone for Sam—graduating from Saavi services for the blind ETS program! 🎓👏Sam has worked hard to build his skills, confidence, and independence, and he knows he didn’t make this journey alone. As he celebrates his graduation, he is especially thankful for all the people who supported, encouraged, challenged, and cheered him on along the way. ❤️Sam, we’re proud of everything you’ve accomplished and excited to see where your goals take you next. Tomorrow is our first event of the month for our Phoenix R.E.A.L Children and Youth at the Musical Instrument Museum & Desert Ridge Saturday event in which our students will be getting a hands-on STEM tour exploring how music and science connect. 🐾🖤 Throwback Thursday — Meet Frodo! 🖤🐾

October 1st is National Black Dog Day, and even though National Guide Dog Month has come to an end, we couldn’t pass up the perfect opportunity to introduce one of our newest four-legged coworkers!

Meet Frodo, a Seeing Eye dog who has recently joined the SAAVI family.🦮❤️ We’re so excited to have him around the office!

Frodo may be new to the team, but he already has a very important job to do. And just like any working guide dog, when his harness is on, he’s focused on helping his handler travel safely and independently.

Welcome to SAAVI, Frodo! We think you’re going to fit right in. 🐾
