💜 Meet Our Team | Briza Dominguez, MSW

At Hospice in the Desert, we believe compassionate care begins with the people who provide it. Today, we’d love to introduce Briza, one of our dedicated Hospice Social Workers!

Born and raised in Tucson, Briza has a deep connection to the community she serves. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Northern Arizona University and completed her Master of Social Work in 2025.

With a passion for supporting patients and their families through life’s most difficult moments, Briza brings compassion, understanding, and a commitment to preserving dignity throughout the hospice journey.

We’re grateful to have Briza as part of our Hospice in the Desert family and for the heart she brings to the work she does every day. 💜

Meet the women behind Hospice in the Desert 💜

Stephanie Carter, BSN, RN and Nicole Ralston, NP share more than just a passion for nursing — they share a heart for hospice care and the families they serve.

Both found their calling in end-of-life care years ago, and that passion eventually became Hospice in the Desert. Their goal has always been to provide compassionate, personal care and to treat patients and families with the kindness and dignity they deserve.

For Steph and Nicole, hospice isn’t just healthcare — it’s caring for people during one of life’s most important moments. 💜
