I'm here with a bittersweet update: Sarah and I will be pushing the start date of the Growing Your Gifts mentorship program back to early 2027.

This isn't something I often talk about publicly, but I've dealt with chronic fatigue a few times over the past few years. Sometimes – including right now – that manifests as intense flare-ups that can last a few months. They're not something I can easily push through, and I know I must listen to my body's needs right now if I want to make this offering happen later!

Sarah is in a similar but different situation. Her daughter is entering middle school in the fall and she senses that her daughter will really need her presence and support for this transition. By January, both she and her daughter will be good to go!

So, what does that mean for the program?

First, it means you see us modeling intuitive entrepreneurship. It's not about pushing through. It's about listening, iterating, discerning, and trusting the guidance we receive. Second, this gives Sarah and me some extra runway to continue refining the marketing (we want to model that for you as well) and what the more specific details of mentorship will look like.

Tucson friends – Gentle Transitions for Pets & Their People is back. Join us on May 14th at Hunter's Kitten Lounge for our next event for National Pet Cancer Awareness Month. 💖

If you haven’t seen me mention it before, this is an end-of-life pet support event series. We’re a group of compassionate end-of-life pet care experts who have gathered to host pet grief support and end-of-life care events, panels, and community gatherings. Our goal is to provide comfort, understanding, and connection with others who truly get it.

This month will focus on the experience when a pet receives a terminal diagnosis – processing the news, navigating anticipatory grief, and understanding what to expect.�Plus, exploring the difficult question: just because we can extend life, does it always mean we should?

Grief has no timeline, and there’s no “right” way to feel.�With time and space, you can begin to move forward while still carrying their love with you – and this event is designed to help you do that.

Last month, I listened to an episode of The Emerald Podcast that resonated deeply with me. It explored the way that in western, predominantly white societies, the intuitive is simultaneously pathologized and commodified.

As the host of the show said: “what happens when the seer is ripped from the ecology in which they traditionally lived?”

When psychic capacities started to appear in eras past, we apprenticed with the shaman, curandera/o, witch, psychic, etc. in our community – someone who could help us understand the sacredness of our gifts, and that this is a higher calling. Now, we have to do a lot more work to even realize what’s happening, much less to find a mentor or teacher that we can trust.

🍃 Just as the Earth's seasons change, so do the seasons of our personal lives, communities, and societies at large. 🍂

I've been thinking about this a lot lately, and this much I know historically and energetically: to be reborn, we must let what no longer serves us pass.

So how do we navigate this transformation? How do we do the work of uprooting what's rotten, and transmuting that energy into a new, value-aligned state of being?
