Mid-morning, Monica with Scan had red passports for our assisted living residents. Each month, she takes the residents to another country, learning fascinating facts followed by a craft project. Today, they learned about Jamaica then made personalized beaded bracelets and keychains.

Mid-afternoon, in celebration of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, Ernie served fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and everyone learned the history of and fascinating facts about chocolate chip cookies (and Oreos, which was invented before chocolate chip cookies).
