New study to help inform patient, physician choices for sleep apnea treatment. U of A sleep researchers will compare the benefits and drawbacks of three common treatments to better understand which works best for which patients.

"Sleep apnea can significantly affect quality of life and is costly to the workforce through lost productivity," said Dr. Sairam Parthasarathy, director of the Center for Sleep, Circadian & Neuroscience Research and professor of medicine in the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson.
