The nights are the hardest part. Everyone shows up during the day. They hold the baby, they bring food, they keep you company. And then they leave. And you’re up at 2am trying to figure out how to feed your baby, get them back to sleep, and take care of yourself at the same time. On zero sleep. While your body is still recovering. Overnight postpartum support exists for exactly this reason. Having someone there to help you learn how to move your baby through a feeding and back to sleep, while also making sure you’re eating and taking care of yourself, benefits the whole family. The transition home is hard and you don’t have to do it alone. Would you use overnight postpartum support if it was available to you?
