Ever since Bobbie was a little girl she loved digging in the dirt. As she grew older she studied horticulture and wanted to learn all she could about growing things. Here at Brookdale East Tucson, Bobbie has a purpose, she puts that love of nature and beauty to good use with the living wall. Bobbie arranges fresh flowers in the vases on the wall delivering a spectacular show of beauty. The wonderful aroma of the fresh flowers fill the air in the hall. Bobbie says she does it because she enjoys seeing the smiles on the other residents faces when then see it, and they make sure to walk down the hall to see what Bobbie has in store for the week.

It is always an enjoyable time when our Community Partner, Desert Christian School, brings some of their students over for some intergenerational discussions. Our residents love learning about the interests of the younger generation, while they give them some inspirational advice.
