Prolapse rehab isn't about avoiding movement—it's about building capacity. 💜
Many women are told to stop lifting, running, or jumping after a prolapse diagnosis. But in many cases, the pelvic floor can be progressively trained to tolerate more load and impact over time.
Just like any other muscle group, the pelvic floor adapts to challenge.
Through a combination of pressure management, strength training, and gradual exposure to impact, we help patients build confidence and return to the activities they love.
A prolapse diagnosis doesn't automatically mean doing less. It may simply mean training smarter.

Prolapse is common, but many women aren't sure what it actually means—or that there are different types.
Pelvic organ prolapse occurs when the support structures of the pelvic floor are no longer able to fully support one or more pelvic organs. Depending on which organ is involved, the type of prolapse can vary.
The good news? A prolapse diagnosis doesn't automatically mean surgery or giving up the activities you love. Many women successfully manage symptoms with pelvic floor physical therapy and other conservative treatment options đź’ś
