Mr. Arthur Edward Chandler, 82 passed from this life on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at his residence. He was born on November 23, 1943, in Chattanooga, TN to the late Alexander Chandler Sr. and Alzata Baugh Page. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Chandler; daughter, Janet Shannon; sister, Barbara Page; and brothers, Alexander Chandler Jr., Walter Page, Clevon Page, and Leonard Page

Affectionately known as Chandler to family and friends, he was educated in the Chattanooga Public School System and graduated from Howard High School. After high school, Chandler proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he attended Lane College, where he earned two bachelor’s degrees. He also attended Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Shelbyville where he received a certificate in welding. For many years, Chandler did masonry and welding work and crafted expert skills, always playing close attention to detail.

Chandler loved God and his family. He was a humble servant who was always willing to lend a helping hand and never met a stranger. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and playing horseshoes. Those who knew him will always remember his familiar thumbs-up sign, letting everyone know that everything was okay.

Chandler met the love of his life, the late Linda Starks Chandler, and they were united in Holy Matrimony on April 21, 1973. Together, they made their home in Tullahoma. Chandler accepted Christ at an early age and was an active member of New Creation Church under the leadership of Pastor Don Burkhalter. He loved serving God and others and could often be found helping and working around the church.

Chandler leaves to cherish his memories: three sons, Jeffrey Shannon of Chicago, IL, Vincent (Faith) Starks of Indianapolis, IN and Allen T (Tameka) Starks of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Jalen and Julian Shannon, LaShaundra, LaShay and Gary King Jr, Tashawn Starks, A***n Prather, Vashinee Starks, Allen T. Starks, Jr., Micah Starks and Dominique Lawrence;14 great grandchildren; bonus brother, Edward Baugh; bonus sister, Faustina Smith both of Chattanooga, TN; special nieces, Makeba Petty and Tyleisha Baugh; and a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation, Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at Revival Center Family Church with the Homegoing Celebration following at 1:00 p.m. with Elder Dr. Cedric Seay, Officiating and Pastor Don Burkhalter, as Eulogist. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

Corey Jermaine Turner Robinson, 34, of Wi******er, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was born on December 17, 1991, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Corey was a kind-hearted man whose quiet spirit and gentle nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. A 2010 graduate of Franklin County High School, he was known for being soft-spoken, respectful, and always willing to lend a helping hand. His kindness was genuine, and he never hesitated to help anyone in need.

From birth, Corey and his twin brother, Cortez, courageously battled sickle cell disease. Through every challenge, Corey showed remarkable strength, resilience, and determination. His life was a testament to perseverance, and he faced each obstacle with quiet courage.

Above all else, Corey loved being a father. His greatest joy was raising his son, Kyrie, and spending quality time with him. He also treasured the moments he shared with his family and friends.

Corey was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Lacy Childress, Carolyn Hunter, Gail Turner and Butch Staten; his twin brother, Cortez Robinson; and his uncle, Harry Robinson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving son, Kyrie Turner; parents, Sonya Robinson and Tinesha Turner; sister, Aisha Turner; brother, Cameron Robinson; bonus brother, Kyle "Rico" Cash; aunts and uncles, Crystal Johnson, Tiffany Kennerly Horton, Stephanie Burnette, Katrina Burnette, Stephanie (Mike) Gray, Jasmine Biddle; special cousin, Trenton Gray; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. Though Corey's time on earth was far too short, his gentle heart, quiet strength, and unwavering love for those closest to him will never be forgotten. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love him.

A Celebration of Corey's life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Covenant Original Church of God (308 4th Ave SE, Wi******er, TN 37398).

Reva H. Martin, born November 4, 1930, departed this life to enter her eternal home on July 19, 2026. She was a native of Giles County, Pulaski, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Clarence and Sadie Mae Howard.

Mrs. Martin started teaching school in Lynchburg, Tennessee her sophomore year in college and taught there ten plus years. She finished her teaching career at East Side Elementary in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Mrs. Martin taught school for 37 years and was a member of the Tennessee Retired Teachers' Association.

Aside from teaching, she spent numerous hours at the farm where she tended to cows, goats, pigs, and chickens. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Shelbyville, Tennessee for 58 years. She enjoyed playing the piano at church, where she was the President of the Adult Senior Choir. It especially gave her great joy when her mother would visit and sing while she played the piano. She also liked attending high school basketball and football sporting events.

She was preceded in death by her parents - Clarence & Sadie Mae Howard, husband - Will Porter Martin, and son - William E. Martin. She leaves to mourn her passing: cousins, friends, her very special adopted family: Leonard & Glorial Singleton; Lincoln, Denice, & Trevor Reese; and Valerie Woods & Dylan Singleton, and a devoted cousin, Buford Wade “G” Jones.

Visitation, Friday, July 24, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Shelbyville with Funeral Services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Shelbyville with Pastor Corey Davis, Officiating and Dr. Riggins R. Earl, Jr., as Eulogist. Interment will follow at Everbright Cemetery in Giles County.

Mr. Thomas J. Beasley, age 64, of Madison, Tennessee, formerly of Tullahoma, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 12, 2026. He was born August 5, 1961 to the late William Beasley and Rosa L. Beasley Young.

Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and faithfully read his Bible. His faith was the foundation of his life and guided the compassion he showed to others every day. Thomas had a heart for serving others. One of his greatest joys was feeding and helping those experiencing homelessness. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Above all else, Thomas dearly loved his children. He often spoke of them with great pride and affection, and there was no doubt that each one held a special place in his heart.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Lashunda Beasley; daughter, Rosa (Beasley) Sammons; his three sons, Theo Bradford, Thomas Beasley II, and Nicholas Beasley; eight beloved grandchildren; his sister, Brenda Jackson (John); his brother, Michael Beasley (Monica); along with many other loving relatives and dear friends who will miss him deeply. Thomas will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his generous heart, his service to his country, and the unconditional love he had for his family. His legacy of kindness, compassion, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Ms. Climmie Louise Brannon, 78 of Wi******er passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at her loving home surrounded by family. She was born on February 7, 1948 in Pelham, TN to the late Sterling and Daisy Southern. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Thomas Southern.

Climmie attended Hillcrest School in Decherd. After completing her education, she began working as a machine operator at Lanier Clothing. Climmie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasure. She especially loved hosting yard sales on Fridays and Saturdays chatting with friends and family. Known for her uncanny soft voice, she had the ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her three loving daughters, Annette (Dr. Kenneth) Berry, Lisa Floyd, and Sonja Michelle (Tim) Dickerson; one loving son, Charles Daralle (Gilly) Brannon; three granddaughters, Arieon Brown, Dominque Brannon and Jalisa Hamlert; three grandsons, Harlen Snipes, Jr., Dejun Brannon and Jalen Brannon; great-grandchildren, Kaynie Brown, Aria Majors, Amya Majors, Greyson Majors and Laytonii Hamlett; one devoted sister, Georgia Ann (James) Tate; three caring brothers, Andy Lewis (Emma) Southern, Melvin Southern, and Paul Ray (Missy) Southern; two devoted nieces, Lakesha Southern and Anekea Southern; five devoted nephews, Arthur Smith, James Water, Thomas Mayberry, Rylen "Rascal" Southern and Kendrell Southern; special friends, Sharon Melton, Toya Taylor, and Bobby Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Dorothy Louise Hall Eady, 96 of Lynchburg passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on January 24, 1930 in Moore County to the late Willie Matt and Omah Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Claude Eady; three brothers, Oundell Hall, J.D. Hall, and Roy Hall.

She grew up and attended school in Lynchburg before graduating from West End High School in Fayetteville. After high school, she continued her education at A&I University, now Tennessee State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Education. She was a lifelong member of Berry Chapel AME Church, faithfully serving as church secretary and treasurer until her passing. Dedicated to the field of education, she taught in Moore County for more than 40 years, positively impacting countless students throughout her career. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, cleaning, working in the church, and watching soap operas.

She is survived by her son, Kevin (Danielle) Eady; granddaughter, Maya (Anthony) Nichols; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation, Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at J.A. Welton & Son Funeral Home in Tullahoma and Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Berry Chapel AME Church in Lynchburg with the Funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Archie Griffin, officiating and Pastor Coleman March, Jr. as eulogist. Interment will follow at Highview Cemetery in Lynchburg.

Ms. Marilyn Gaye Corn, 61 of Wi******er peacefully transitioned from this life on Friday, May 29, 2026 at The Heritage Place in Wi******er. Marilyn was born on April 10, 1965 to Frances E. Corn in Belvidere, TN. She was preceded in death by her two siblings, Veronica Cooley and Terry Corn.

She grew up in the Belvidere and Wi******er communities and graduated from Franklin County High School in May 1984. She continued her education at Tennessee State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in August 1990. While living in Nashville, she was baptized and united with 40th Avenue Original Church of God. Upon returning home, she became a member of Burning Bush Original Church of God in Belvidere, where she faithfully served the Lord. A woman of strong faith, she served on the usher board, attended Sunday School and Bible Study, and actively participated in numerous church ministries. She was known for sharing daily messages of faith and encouragement with family members, friends, and fellow church association members and cherished staying connected with them. She also enjoyed staying connected with her many childhood and college classmates. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching sports, game shows, and movies on TV. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on her favorite team.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted mother and caregiver, Frances E. Corn of Wi******er; siblings, Priscilla (Jinks) Hartsfield of Manchester, Wanda (Jerome) Rogers of Clarksville, Darrell (the late Lekeya) Corn of Decherd, and Lydell (Lynn) Corn of Tullahoma; nieces, Shatim (Darren ) Jones, Jinks Hartsfield IV(deceased), Amber Hartsfield, Takeshia Corn, Jereka ( Dallin) Bridges, Brechelle Corn, Talia Corn, and Briasen Corn; two uncles, Donald Ray Corn of Nashville and James Burnett of Sewanee; three aunts, Elizabeth Corn of Elyria, Ohio, Eva Corn of Medina, Ohio and Linda Corn of Cleveland, Ohio; a host of adoring relatives, close knit friends, and a loving church family. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, whom she supported and loved from infancy through adulthood. She was their biggest cheerleader by always celebrating their achievements and milestones.
