✈️ Residents here at Life Care Center of Tullahoma enjoyed a trip to the local Beechcraft Heritage Museum. They toured airplane hangars to learn the history of Beechcraft and of the flight tours of all the planes. Our residents were thrilled to learn more about our hometown! 😁

Life Care Center of Tullahoma's resident garden is in full bloom! 🌱 In one bed we have tomatoes, bell peppers, squash, and onions that are healthy and growing. 🍅 Another bed contains rosemary, basil, oregano, and thyme that are doing very well. Our residents visit the garden daily to check its progress and help with keeping plants healthy and growing. One resident said, "I had forgotten how much I loved gardening. It makes me so happy." 🌼

🏍️💨 We're proud to have hosted our 4th annual Kickstands Up motorcycle ride in support of our local Multi-county Cancer Support Network. ❤️ We had a great turn out for an amazing cause!

🍦 Our residents had a blast at Nash Family Creamery with ice cream, fancy grilled cheese sandwiches, and lemonade! 🍋 We can't wait for more outings this summer! 😎

🌸 What have we been up to this spring at Life Care Center of Tullahoma?

🌱 Well, we enjoyed a visit from Girl Scout Troop 365 helping residents in the garden by donating plants and dirt. 🤠 We had a fun week of cowboy visits, cotton candy, and staff country karaoke. And we even had our residents douse our Activities staff with buckets of water! 💦

💐 Each year, we set aside a special week to celebrate our amazing residents and associates and the role that skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities play in senior care.

We care for those who cannot care for themselves. We help rehab patients recover from illness or injury. And we do it all in a series of many moments... ☺️

From assisting a resident with getting dressed in the morning to providing meals, activities, medication administration, help with activities of daily living, and therapy as appropriate, our associates work together to create a full experience of care.

Join us this week as we celebrate with a variety of fun activities! 🎉
