To the kind and cowardly person who wrote us this letter,

This letter actually proves you know very little about us.

Let me just brief with the fact that my house is completely low-tox—cleaning supplies, detergent, and “scents.” I scan every single product I use with the YUKA app and if it scans below 70, I don’t use it. I use patchouli essential oil as deodorant, and I DON’T wear perfume. My children also scan their products. How dare you bring up my children in this dramatic letter.

Yes, we have a dog in our clinic and YES my receptionist has a hypoallergenic candle warmer. We also have a Young living essential oil diffuser.

If you cannot handle our office or if it causes you such panic, I wish you would find another provider and kindly dismiss yourself from our practice, BECAUSE I promise if I knew who you were, I would have already done so.

While it’s so important to be mindful of scents and endocrine disrupters, let’s not live every day in fear of things we cannot control.
