What a wonderful evening of connection, conversation, and community at our Women in Medicine Social!

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We loved bringing physicians from across Tulsa County together to share experiences, make new connections, exchange ideas, and build relationships that extend beyond the evening.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible, and to those who joined us for the first time. We hope the evening gave you a glimpse of what makes the TCMS community so valuable.

TCMS was on the move yesterday!

We started the day in Tulsa at OSU Center for Health Sciences, where we welcomed first-year medical students to the Tulsa medical community. TCMS Immediate Past President Dr. Ondria Gleason, Executive Director Mark McElreath, and fellow medical students shared the importance of physician advocacy and getting involved in organized medicine early, while TCMS Past President and current board member Dr. Sharon Smallwood joined the conversation with MS1 students at OSU-COM at the Cherokee Nation attending virtually from Tahlequah. We also had a few giveaways to help celebrate the start of their medical school journey.

Then we hit the road to Tahlequah for the Osteopathic Medical Student Social, hosted with Oklahoma State Medical Association at Kroner & Baer. It was a fun evening of pizza, conversations, new connections, and plenty of laughs.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! We look forward to supporting these students throughout medical school and beyond.
