Empowered Life Counseling, PLLC now has an affordable counseling option available. Our intern from OU-Tulsa, Lori Stika Borchers, is accepting new clients at $35 per session.

For individuals who are uninsured or unable to take on the cost of standard therapy rates, Lori provides a thoughtful, well‑supported path to begin counseling. She is an excellent fit for clients seeking compassionate care without financial strain.

Wow. What a powerful process and what a powerful training I got to be a part of! Love sitting under Dr. Teri Murphy and learning more about cultivating an environment for my clients to heal from attachment injuries. Had some of the most fun I have ever had in a training with my fellow EFCT therapists. We were practicing a process of “dropping a pin” with our clients so we can get our emotional orientation in order to get connected again. Super blessed to have been a part of this experience.

Big shout out to the St. Louis EFT Community for hosting. Thanks all!

Progress is happening. We are moving along steadily. I’m pretty eager. Lol. My nurse told me this morning to dial it back a little. Slowing down is hard. But it’s worth it. Take care of yourself this weekend!

We were so glad to have Ferg back with us at staff meeting this week!

Making change is hard. Let me encourage you to not over complicate it or overthink it. Just take the step that is in front of you. Maybe that step is to keep doing what you are doing until a new step reveals itself. Maybe it’s doing the obvious thing that is uncomfortable or scary. Just take a step. Even if it is a half step. Moving forward helps you move further forward.
