Last Friday, our team had the opportunity to attend the Oklahoma Athletic Trainers Association (OATA) Conference and connect with athletic trainers, athletic directors, coaches, and students from across the state.

Kaitie, Sylvia, Julie, and Lindsey enjoyed sharing how vision plays a critical role in both athletic performance and concussion recovery. From reaction time and eye tracking to depth perception and visual processing, visual skills can have a significant impact on how athletes perform and recover.

One of our favorite conversations centered around the importance of preseason concussion screenings. Establishing a baseline before an injury occurs provides valuable information that can help guide care and recovery if a concussion happens during the season.

Concussions can affect athletes in any sport whether school-based, club-based, or recreational. Baseline testing is an important step in protecting athletes and supporting a safe return to play.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth. We enjoyed meeting so many professionals dedicated to helping athletes succeed.

Athlete Potential Matters.
