How do syphilis tests work? Scroll through to find out about testing for this infection at HOPE.

Syphilis is a common STI that can often have few or no symptoms, making regular testing an important part of protecting your health. Don't forget: STIs are simply infections. Stigma can create an air of discomfort around this type of healthcare, but we want you to know we're here for you with judgment free and compassionate care.

At HOPE, we offer free rapid syphilis testing with results in just 10 minutes, as well as lab testing with free standard results or expedited results for $30.

Anyone who is sexually active can be at risk. If you've had a potential exposure, keep in mind that syphilis testing is most accurate 1 to 3 months after exposure.

Questions about testing? We're here to help. Call us at (918) 749-8378 or send us a message to learn more.

Know the testing facts: Hepatitis C

Hepatitis C often has no symptoms, which is why testing is so important. In fact, it's recommended that everyone gets tested for Hepatitis C at least once in their lifetime, with more frequent testing for people who use (or have used) intravenous drugs or healthcare workers with regular blood exposure.

At HOPE, we offer free rapid Hepatitis C testing with results in just a few minutes, as well as free lab testing if needed.

People who share needles or injection equipment, received a blood transfusion before 1992, have had at-home tattoos or piercings, or work in healthcare may be at a higher risk. If you've had a potential exposure, keep in mind that Hepatitis C can take up to 6 months to be detectable.

Just a friendly reminder that HOPE offers pap smears at our clinic. Regular cervical cancer screenings are vital for reproductive health, and we’re making them more accessible than ever. Think about it: not all cancers have screenings available. Why not take advantage of cancer screenings that do exist? We can take insurance for them.

Don’t wait! Schedule your pap smear today. If you have questions about other intimate health issues, we're happy to discuss those as well.

July 21 is dedicated to raising awareness about one of the biggest barriers to HIV prevention, testing, and care: stigma.

While advances in medicine have transformed HIV prevention and treatment, stigma continues to prevent many people from getting tested, seeking care, and accessing the support they deserve. At HOPE, we're committed to providing confidential, compassionate care and HIV testing in a safe, judgment-free environment. Join us in standing against stigma, and give us a call if you need a test.
